Who You're Working With

A Division I career, put to work for your athlete.

Connor Hickman is a former Division I basketball player who competed at Bradley University, the University of Cincinnati, and the College of Charleston over a five-year collegiate career. A 6’3” guard from Bloomington, Indiana, he scored over 1,200 career points.

At Bradley, Hickman earned MVC All-Freshman Team (2021-22), MVC Scholar-Athlete 2nd Team (2022-23), and in 2023-24 was named MVC All-Conference 3rd Team, MVC Most-Improved Team, MVC Scholar-Athlete 1st Team, MVC All-Tournament Team, and MVC Player of the Week.

He transferred to Cincinnati for the 2024-25 season, competing in the Big 12, before a mid-season foot injury required surgery. He closed his career at the College of Charleston.

Hickman is now Head Varsity Assistant Coach for the Edgewood Mustangs in Bloomington, Indiana. He also works as an AI consultant for basketball software, trains athletes in skills development alongside Jordan Basye, and maintains an affiliation with Indiana Elite.

Why I do this

Now that I coach I see how much bad advice is circulating in this space, especially in AAU where so much of it has become about money instead of the player. I played basketball for 18 years, five of them at the Division I level, and I came out of that time with knowledge worth sharing. The players who separate themselves carry an unshakeable belief in themselves, they take the routine and the mindset seriously, and they study the game on film until they can see it and make reads in real time. I was someone who took that side of the game seriously, and it carried me further than talent alone ever would have. I want to help the game become about basketball again through mentoring and film breakdowns.
